MY ROLE
As a dedicated consumer and customer of Starbucks Coffee, I get excited every season to see what they come up with for different holiday branding. With the season of love aka Valentine’s Day being my favorite holiday, I’ve decided to create branding that aligns with Starbucks typical branding while highlighting the identifiable festivities of Valentines day. I did this by using Starbucks’ most used typeface and incorporating recognizable elements such as their iconic green color and their siren logo into my designs.

I created a color palette that reflects the festive Valentine’s Day colors to guide the branding.

I wanted to create something that can easily be indicative of Valentine’s Day while still preaching Starbucks Coffee. I settled for this pattern with Sweethearts or Conversation Hearts that relay the theme of Valentine’s Day while still delivering subtle messages of coffee (”From Us”, “Love U a Latte”).
I designed these fun gift cards while focusing on delivering positive messages similar to how Starbucks brand their gift cards.

For the email, I decided to use Starbucks’ standard email design to guide my layout.

Valentine’s Day: Tomorrow Free Reusable Red Cup
Similar to the Reusable Holiday Cups that usually surface during December, this email is strictly designed to introduce Starbucks’ Reusable Cups in order to emphasize a more sustainable way to enjoy coffee during this holiday.
